Ballet Folklorico dancers

FREE EVENT!!
*Capacity for this event will be VERY LIMITED and Registration is REQUIRED*
*Every participant must be accompanied by an adult.*

Inspired by traditions of Mexican heritage, Ballet Folklorico is an expression of different cultures in Mexico. Join San Antonio River Authority staff for this 7-week class to learn basic Folklorico steps and choreography. Students will get the chance to perform at the end of the 7 weeks at Fiesta Flotilla on April 21st. All participants are required to attend all 7 classes in order to be prepared for the performance. Practice skirts will be provided for class time and will be given back at the end of the class session.

**PLEASE NOTE: Class size is limited to 20 participants. If you miss the first class, your spot will automatically be forfeited to the next person on the waiting list.**

Saturday, March 9th, 16th, 23rd, & 30th and April 6th& 13th from 5pm – 6:30pm
(*Last practice on Wed, April 17th will be a little longer in duration for performance rehearsal)

SASPAMCO Paddling Trail Temporarily Closed

Staff have removed two large log jams just downstream of Helton Nature Park, keeping the southern portion of the SASPAMCO Paddling Trail temporarily closed. Staff are working to contact adjacent landowners to support a land-based removal solution.

The SASPAMCO paddling trail is open from River Crossing Park to Helton Nature Park.
*Please Note: Paddling Trail from Helton Nature Park to HWY 97 is still closed due to blockages.
