WHAT: The San Antonio River Authority (River Authority) is hosting the 5th annual Planets in the Park event at John William Helton San Antonio River Nature Park (Helton Park) Saturday, February 29, from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. The evening will consist of local astronomy organizations with viewing telescopes, a glow-in-the-dark space activity, a nine-foot laser robot show, and sci-fi characters. In celebration of the 5th annual event, there will be a special appearance and presentation from NASA astronaut, Loral O’Hara. The Texas native was part of NASA’s 2017 Astronaut Class and is now eligible for a mission assignment.
