Fall Festival

Last Updated on January 4, 2024

(SAN ANTONIO, TX) – The San Antonio River Authority (River Authority) is hosting its annual Fall Festival at Helton Nature Park in Floresville, Texas, on Saturday, October 21, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Fall Festival provides an opportunity for the community to come together and celebrate the fall season while supporting local businesses. The event is free and open to the public.

Attendees can look forward to getting lost in the fall maze, animal shows, and satisfying their taste buds at the s’more station. Participants can showcase their creativity in the costume contest and Pecan Baking Contest (registration required), while others can enjoy hay rides around the park. Various food vendors will be on-site, offering a wide selection. Additionally, the event will feature Wilson County Trade Days Vendors and a car show. The event will feature live music from Trisdon Federic, Sean Slater, April Hall, and Luke Prater.

“The Fall Festival is an opportunity for the community to gather and enjoy beautiful Helton Park,” said Kristen Hansen, Deputy Director, Parks & Recreation for the River Authority. “We are grateful for our partners who have made it possible for us to come together to enjoy the beauty of our natural surroundings.”
